Questions
Where does the data come from?
Public building permit records published by each city on its open data portal: Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago. We only use sources whose terms allow commercial reuse.
What is in each list?
Every permit issued in your metro in the last 7 days for the trades you pick: issue date, street address and ZIP, permit type, the work description, job valuation where the city reports it, the contractor company of record where reported, and a link to the city record.
Do you include owner names or phone numbers?
No. Lists contain addresses and permit details only. The usual way to reach a property owner is direct mail to the address, which is lawful. If you call or text anyone, you are responsible for following the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Do Not Call rules.
Which trades can I pick?
Roofing, solar, HVAC and mechanical, pool and spa, remodel and addition, and new construction. Pick any mix, or all of them.
When does it arrive?
Every Monday morning by email: a printable report plus a CSV that opens in Excel or Google Sheets and imports into postcard and mail tools.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, from the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing support@agntc.tech. No contract.
I want a metro you do not list.
Email us. We add a metro when its city publishes permits on a portal that allows commercial reuse.
Data comes from public records provided as is by each city. Chicago lists use data modified from its original source, www.cityofchicago.org; the City of Chicago makes no claims as to its content, accuracy, timeliness or completeness.
